TBL, this part is odd to me. Did our people still expect an announcement on Monday had OU won and was going Big 12 championship game? With an outside shot a that the playoffs on the table? That seems ridiculous to me. I assume this was during our game which meant the OU game was not complete.

Don't fire your coach midwY during the season or don't let it out that you are parting ways in mid October. It gives the other party time to put together solid offers as well.

Hire Aranda and the pain will go away. Not overly pained about not getting Riley, have pain that we can end up with a third tier guy instead of a guy like Aranda

Napier and Aranda are the best hires for LSU. Reily is a home run, just not sure he is LSU material with the lack of defense.

I think it’s clear that Riley wants the NFL. If he really doesn’t enjoy recruiting it makes sense.
