Y’all better get to coming up with some better backup options… The talking to Mark Stoops and other low end options is very much a reality at this junction. I do not expect it to be Riley based on the most recent discussions. It’s not dead in the water, but the boat is taking on water quickly…

"Not Riley" doesn't equate to Mark Stoops. I usually appreciate your info, but that's dumb and doesn't make sense. At the very worst, we know Napier is near the top of tier 2 with Aranda, and he would take the job without hesitation. That's the floor for this hire.

I’m not saying it will be Stoops, but the rumor that we have reached out to him is true. And I agree it makes zero sense. If we hire Mark fricking Stoops to coach at LSU we might as well shut the circus down
