I mean…I don’t see why Stoops would be a failure. What do we think Aranda’s trajectory would be if he stayed at Baylor? It would probably look a lot like Stoops who looks a lot like Gary Patterson, Mike Gundy, etc.

We’re all on Aranda’s nuts because he’s on an upward trajectory, Ultimately, though, he’s limited at Baylor. Mark Stoops actually makes sense as a top of the list Tier 2 guy. He’s made Kentucky very competitive with half the resources of other SEC schools. I wouldn’t have a problem with the hire.

Not as exciting as Riley, but outside of him, who is even close to being realistic?

Especially since they didn't even try with a name like Urban Meyer.

Have you been under a rock? No way he would coach at LSU with the recent videos.

Name one legit source that said Tucker.

The guys at Football Scoop said he was on the list and they are usually pretty plugged in.

Especially with his open checkbook negotiation strategy for the Top 5 college football job where any idiot can win a national championship too.

We have no idea if he was a great hire or not. Paul M was more successful and we ran him off.

Hiring Jimbo would be a failure and we’d be bailing out A&M in the process

Google Title IX and LSU. You’re calling me a POS? Read this and yes LINKdespite it not being tied to the ADs office it is VERY much an intuitional issue.

Yep Kiffin is way better than Stoops, Napier, Campbell, and BOB. If Riley and Aranda are off the board then Kiffin should be the next coach.

If he went 0-6 then woodward should resign it’s that simple. He was brought here to make this hire. I am having serious trouble believing that we went O-6, i was there in the bad times and we never went past our 3rd pic, or 4th depending on who you talk too, on what Saban was. So if you are saying Scott went 0-6 then you better have a reason bro? Are we getting the death penalty or something???????

Why is lane looked down so much by SW? I think lanes offensive prowess would bring the most hype with a hire than anyone else (besides Riley) and lane has proven it’s not JUST hype. Ole miss is about to go to a NY6 bowl.
He should be a serious candidate. Can’t imagine what he’d do with LSU talent

Lane a thousand times over before we get mark stoops low on the list. Woodward a massive failure if that ends up happening

Woodward has already lost a toooon of my faith in him simply by having Jimbo as a top target. That’s not a commentary on Jimbo but rather Scott being a one trick pony and thus, his image being a fraud. That he actually just thought ‘I’ll just go back to the same well’. Insert massive eye roll.
By all accounts he lucked out on the baseball hire but anyone trying to act like that went according to plan is in denial, that was a shite show with KOS and then Casey.
Mark stoops would be a MASSIVE failure for Scott.

With Mullen teetering on the precipice in Gainsville, Riley and Kiffin are both likely to stand pat and angle for that job when it opens.

So Florida is a better job than LSU? No it isn’t.

Florida International is a better job than LSU if the money was equal. UF money would be as good as LSU money, so yes, UF is better than LSU.

And just so we’re VERY clear. If it ends up being a hire not named Jimbo or Riley it means Woodward failed miserably. He has gone all in on both of them

BUMP lol
