i am not wanting jimbo hired. however FTR, he won a natty at LSU as a OC. had record breaking offenses in 01, 03. won multiple conference titles at LSU and FSU. got 4 QB's to be first rounders in draft. made playoffs year after winning natty at FSU. finished 4th last year at TAMU. they shoulda made playoffs last year and were fricked.

He was 85-23 at FSU, 78.7 win percentage.
Bowden was 30-22 his last 4 years at FSU, 57.6 win percentage.
and whether we like it or not he's done a very good job at building up Texas A&M.
With all due respect, asking what he has done is dumb, and asking why he's a better option than Aranda is even dumber. Both are obvious.

He got TAMU from trash to a top 4 finish last year with that garbage qb Mond. TAMU is now a program we are dog fighting with for recruits in Louisiana and Texas. TAMU is a program in the middle of nowhere and is weird…and he’s getting top recruits there. He has stabilized a program that has been trash since the 1930s. He’s been there a few years and, whether we want to admit it, has taken it to a place it hasn’t been. He’s not my top choice, but he would crush it here.

His name is “Jimbo”, he rambles on in interviews worse than LM, he couldn’t keep his high profile QB in check and then he left FSU in a state of disaster. If he leaves aTm after they gave him an escape (from FSU) and everything that he wanted, then I’ll have no respect for him at all.
We can do better than to pay this “character” all the money in the world.

College football has changed a lot. His offensive style has not won a national championship since him.
Every single Natty since 2013 was won by a coach who runs the spread.
