Jimbo's 2012 recruiting class landed him Jameis Winston and Sean Maguire. Winston was obviously a great talent and Maguire was serviceable. After that, however, the wheels fell off the proverbial wagon. **2013** John Franklin III Transferred to East Mississippi Community College, then to Auburn, then to Florida Atlantic where he played receiver. Made the NFL as a defensive back. Appeared on Last Chance U **2014** JJ Cosentino Left the team after being the third string quarterback for most of his four years with the program **2015** Deondre Francois Kicked off team due to a domestic dispute then transferred to Hampton DeAndre Johnson Kicked off team after punching a woman at a bar, then transferred to East Mississippi Community College, then to Florida Atlantic, and finally to Texas Southern Appeared on Last Chance U **2016** Malik Henry Kicked off team due to rule violations, transferred to Independence Community College but was also kicked off that team. Walked on at Nevada but ultimately left the program. Appeared on Last Chance U **2017** James Blackman Transferred to Arkansas State Bailey Hockman Transferred to North Carolina State, then to Middle Tennessee State. Now retired. **2018** James Foster Transferred to Charlotte **2019** Zach Calzada Lost the starting job at Texas A&M to Haynes King but took over after King's injury. Has been very inconsistent, the jury is still out. **2020** Haynes King Won the starting job at Texas A&M after Kellen Mond left for the NFL draft. Threw 2 touchdowns and 3 interceptions against Kent State before being injured against Colorado in his second start. **2021** Eli Stowers Already moved to tight end.

This was beautifully done. And I appreciated the work.

No to Jimbo.

Negative ghostwriter. Haha

Cap, you’re not supporting the pro style offense coming back to LSU are you?

Or are you just residing to the fate that LSU loves living in the past.

His offense Philosophy could use some updating if he were to come to LSU.

people keep adding this caveat....Does getting the LSU job suddenly get him to completely change his offense?

Yep. He beat the rising star that is Mack Brown and the five star athletes of a basketball school.

Let’s all stop and give Jimbo his due.

He won’t change, that’s why I don’t want him. If he were to change.. I’d love him!

He does everything else well.

got to love a complaint that starts with "outside of winning a national title"....lmaooo you should have hit backspace right there or just use google. He's more than qualified to be the head coach and while he may have his flaws, so does every coach outside of Saban. There are not many coaches with a better resume than Jimbo as far as being considered for a big job.

I really just enjoy this board so much and all the names getting thrown around. You see I am married into an Aggie family so the melt from them would be pretty joyous

Won several NY6 bowls and been to a couple of others. The only ones with more skins on the wall at this point than Jimbo are Saban and Dabo.

Not to say he’s my number one choice or to discredit other successful coaches, but to question what he’s accomplished in his career is asinine. He’s won a ton of big games, including Bama who we’ve beaten once in the past decade

I do wonder if with the right recruits LSU could win another championship with a pro style offense.
I personally would rather watch a RPO/spread, but LSU could probably win with either, given how much success our players have in the pros.

With LSU's talent in particular we'd be dumb to be anything but a spread team. Louisiana produces too many baller WRs to not be constantly trying to get them in space. Plus Texas has been full on modern offense for over a decade now which is our #2 talent state. I won't speculate on which flavor would be best for LSU, but even if it isn't truly the future of offense in general, it's the round hole for LSU's talent pipeline.

I'm really not worried about Jimbo's offense. He'll either hire a coordinator and get out of the way or learn spread RPO. He's smart enough to know that you can't coach as long as he has without reinventing yourself.

he’s also probably smart enough to know he’ll still make >$90,000,000 over the next decade whether he changes or not

i am not wanting jimbo hired. however FTR, he won a natty at LSU as a OC. had record breaking offenses in 01, 03. won multiple conference titles at LSU and FSU. got 4 QB's to be first rounders in draft. made playoffs year after winning natty at FSU. finished 4th last year at TAMU. they shoulda made playoffs last year and were fricked.

there since you are too lazy to look shite up or never watched any games while he was at FSU or LSU.

Fair enough

Still don’t want him. That luster has waned
