I really hope our OU friends hang around once we officially name Riley as our HC.

….and went 5-5. And then this year is staring down a losing record for the first time in 22 years. Riley, at worst, will go 8-3 and probably 9-2.
Good point. I misread it.

I have a very hard time believing we didn’t offer enough assistant pool money. The only way I see us screwing up the assistant hires portion is if Woodward is making him keep some of our guys.
If I’m Woodward, this is the exact tactic I would use to force Riley’s hand.
Ball Champ is an OU fan. He’s saying OU didn’t offer as much for assistants as LSU.
If it isn’t him, he will come out shortly and definitively say so. As long as he doesn’t come out with a definitive answer to the question in public, he’s still in play.

Reports from anyone other than Riley do not close the door.

Brian Kelly?
He got TAMU from trash to a top 4 finish last year with that garbage qb Mond. TAMU is now a program we are dog fighting with for recruits in Louisiana and Texas. TAMU is a program in the middle of nowhere and is weird…and he’s getting top recruits there. He has stabilized a program that has been trash since the 1930s. He’s been there a few years and, whether we want to admit it, has taken it to a place it hasn’t been. He’s not my top choice, but he would crush it here.

I love the “if you ignore the national title he won…” argument.
Fickell is coming to New Orleans today. Scott wouldn’t have to go far to meet up. Jazz brunch at commanders?
No need to be a jackass. Im guessing my house shouldn’t smell like a smoke chamber from lighting a small fire the fireplace.
No. I only had to turn on the starter for like 5 seconds before the fire took off. So all windows and doors are closed.

Fireplace makes house smell like smoke

Hi everyone. I live in a new construction. Lit the heaterator wood burning fireplace for the first time and the house smells like smoke.

I made sure the chimney was open and there’s another lever on the side that apparently is supposed to ensure the smoke goes up. The smoke does appear to be going up the chimney. Any idea what the issue is?

I dug around in the areas where there was damage and looked where it met the healthy grass and didn’t see anything. Does this mean most likely chinch bugs?

Thanks! I’ll look out there in the morning. How easy is to get rid of them and will the grass grow back?

I don’t really have a water schedule. I live in New Orleans and we have gotten a good amount of rain lately. If it hasn’t rained in a week, I’ll put out the sprinkler. If this is the issue, is it too late to get it to fill in with watering now that we are in fall?

If bugs, what do I treat it with? I’ve looked at the blades and there doesn’t appear to be bite marks.

Thanks guys!

St. Aug help needed!

I’ve got an issue with my St Aug. Laid this sod back in February. The area between my sidewalk and the street has been a pain in my arse and it is getting worse. This morning I noticed that the corner of my front yard (on the other side of the sidewalk) is starting to do the same thing. I don’t think it is bugs because I don’t see any moths. Grass experts...help!

We’ve been to White House (Goes by another name now) and it was nice, but an absolute pain to get there.

Last year we went to Emerald Bay and it was incredible. Exuma is breathtaking. The stretch of beach is amazing as is the golf course. I’ve been to Hawaii, Caribbean islands, Jamaica, etc. Never seen anything like the water in exuma. Another huge plus is that the flight to get there is easy and the resort is 10 minutes from the airport.
Just picked up the rest. Thanks!! I have a couple big spots in my backyard (on 20th Street by you) that I need to fill.

I took the crate because I didn’t want to leave trash, but let me know if you want it back.

Thanks again!
