Don’t know why Aranda is not 1a after Riley.

He’s got freaking Baylor playing 3 centers on the Oline and last two games they have committed one penalty. Could you image if LSU was that well coached how unstoppable we would be?

In my eyes, Aranda has been to a championship as assistant HC. He’s more qualified. No doubt Riley is an amazing OC, but if he still only had Rattler, OU would be fricked.

Jesus Christ why does this narrative even exist? He recruited several of our best players while at LSU and had a top 15 class this year at Baylor.

So yeah... Rhule left the cupboard stocked with loads of 3 star talent. If he can compete with 3-stars at Baylor, he's going to be a rock star with the 4 and 5 stars he can get at LSU.

Doesn't this make the case for Riley?
He stacks elite QBs.. So if one misses he has another ready.
How is that a knock? Penn St loses their QB and they look worse than Les Miles.

I would prefer a coach I know, no matter what, will always have elite QB play.

Maybe he is? Nobody on here knows Scott’s list. Hell, Aranda could be his #1. Everyone just took Riley and ran with it because a few “insiders” said it

At what point do we recognize that LSU is a brand that will recruit itself as long as we have a head coach who players respect and believe can improve them? I’m not saying I want a shitty recruiter, but people respect Aranda because he can go into any kids house and break down exactly how they will be used and what they can become under his teaching.

Initially, I wanted Riley over Dave, but the more I watch Baylor and the way his team plays he's who I'm really hoping for. I think he would be the perfect fit and he's already familiar with the program.
