Here’s the obvious question
If Woodward was the AD before we fire Miles, would O have gotten the Job?
Heck, would Miles have been fired?

If O wins out and somehow makes the SEC championship, and wins, and then wins the national championship, then I’ll support his retention.

You’re correct in what you say. Yet, inexplicably, Derek is in power at LSU. Therefore all of those paid and influenced by this rat are the ones trying to imply there is “wavering”

A true leader makes the difficult decisions with a steady hand and an eye on the long term future of an asset.
No way these O flip floppers are in charge of anyone or anything in real life.
ETA: Thankfully the old AD regime is gone and the new one won’t be swept up by emotional fans crying about a coach getting the pink slip
Not that I am for or against the keeping or firing but this statement about not being in a power position is off..I am in one. Would you want to be fired over an issue where you work without all the info or just be fired because a few people in your company think you need to be? . I do not think we as fans are getting all the information other than the wins and loses. The title 9, the portal, other reasons coordinators would not come after the Natty, the NCAA breathing down our necks. Ed's good or bad conduct. LSU has all the info but you and I as fans really don't know shite about what goes on inside the program..So firing a guy you have to pay 21 million to walk away is no snap decision not counting on what it will cost to get another good coach...At the end of the day it's a business decision not a fan decision..Don't give me that firing him for cause option because it's not. That would bring his attorney in and expose probably more than LSU would like. Also it would be hard to hire a good coach here if we squirrel out of the buyout.

Let's not forget Woodward. He is pure ego (you have to be in that type of role). He will use this as an opportunity to cement his legacy at LSU. Keeping Wade and replacing PM, NF, and soon CEO...

Anyone that wants to keep O should mentally prepare themselves for this yearly cycle of being unprepared, outprepared, player only meetings, guys making business decisions because they see the lack of true vision and coherence from their leader, etc.
Don't let the Florida win obscure the obvious systemic deficiencies that are a part of O's DNA.

Great post. A lot of the clamor is from Ponamsky Propagandists with a few coonass Ed pumpers. Most fans know he’s shitcanned.

I'll change my mind if he goes 8-4 and beats Bama. Otherwise he needs to go.

Says the guy in his first semester at LSU and still is sucking his mom's tit and his dad's nut sack to survive

Woodward giving O that massive extension was nothing more than getting caught up in the moment and giving him whatever he wanted.
Let’s not paint Woodward as some stoic businessman who always makes the right decisions.

So slinging bullsht on a sports blog is a sign of power.
Hope you aren't running a business.

Thank you for this post. Some of you are decent, intelligent human beings after all. Lots of these posts I see make me want to kill myself. It's so sad that "grown" "men" behave like children in a damn daycare. Do they think they're immune as trolls on the internet or just DGAF?

Not a one of us on this board has any influence in what happens. Our wavering or not wavering will not change the outcome. I am happy we won yesterday. The team played better and I hope we win out. Whether O stays or goes will be determined by people other than me.

they are the same ones who forgive their wives for the 8th time they fricked jodie
they are just weak and go through life being taken advantage of and accepting defeat and thats the best way to describe them

The only thing this win showed me is just how talented this team really is, and how that talent was misused/wasted through the first 6 f’n games. If anything it furthers the case that Ed Orgeron should be canned at the end of the season. Also, let us not forget that this came on the heels of a PLAYERS ONLY meeting.

I suggest that whoever you are and whoever the people are that think you've made a brilliant post, here, are a lot less clever than you think.
A person in "position of power" in real life likely shouldn't be so immature that they let losses in football games make them so militant that they must get on an internet website and act like crybabies.
A person in "position of power" in real life likely would not hide anonymously behind a keyboard and demand the immediate firing of coaches while heavily criticizing the players because of the final scores of a game.
I don't like to see my favorite teams lose, but it's another thing altogether for me - someone who is not part of the inter-workings of the coaching staff and team - to assume I know what's right and what's wrong. How would you like it if people outside your occupation screamed and ranted uncontrollably how YOU should be terminated?
Things will take care of themselves. The constant promotion of firing our coaches is quite tiresome and, if I may say so myself, embarrassing.
