You people flip flop with the blowing winds.

A true leader has to evaluate not based on a snapshot in time but by evaluating a total body of work.

A true leader can’t get caught up in emotion of one moment.

A true leader makes the difficult decisions with a steady hand and an eye on the long term future of an asset.

No way these O flip floppers are in charge of anyone or anything in real life.

ETA: Thankfully the old AD regime is gone and the new one won’t be swept up by emotional fans crying about a coach getting the pink slip

Couldn't have said it any better. Those who use yesterday's game to try to justify O staying are no different than Alleva with the Miles situation

Difficult decision would have been to tell O to frick off after winning the national championship and demanding he be paid one of the highest coaches in the country. He wasn’t worth it. You know it, he knows it, and the skank blonde in the pool knows it.

Should have said you’re getting a small bump in salary and we will pay you massive bonuses for winning. And you will never have more than 3 year contract. And the buyout is small. Take it or leave it.

Everything you just said negates your OP.

I believe that will likely be the case but O still has the chance to win out and win the SEC. You cant fire him until he is eliminated which oddly enough could be next week.

Anyone in a position of power in real life would have the vision to see that Orgeron is not the guy to make LSU a consistent national title contender. If you cannot discern that by now I don’t know what to tell you

Those who can't enjoy a win, there's no way you're not a democrat.

This reminds me of the MSM during Trumps administration.

O is gone, can you women just shut the frick up for once?

Look Brandon, I enjoyed the win.

Was in attendance.

Doesn’t change the fact that O still needs to hit the bricks.

The total body of work is not up to the standard. We spend more money on coaching than everyone in the nation outside of Bama and we are not competitive in a national sense. It’s not close or debatable, LSU is putting up 2 worst defense seasons in history back to back. Orgeron provides very little value to the program because he’s dependent on outstanding coordinators. We are running through OCs almost annually. If you want to compete for 8 wins a year, keep him. If you are looking to compete for championships, which you are paying him for, he’s gotta go. Only competitive one year so far in his time at LSU.

I like what I saw yesterday.

The team played hard and inspired football.

Coach O can save his job, but the team must continue to play smart and with heart.

Can he do it?

This place is all emotion and drama all the time. We lose, “we won’t win another game for the rest of the season.” We win, “if we play like that against Bama we might can pull the upset”

So it will be the teams fault when Orgeron gets fired?

Your post further illustrates the point OP was making. You’re totally blinded by your devotion to Ed Orgeron. It’s pathetic.

Anyone willing to give a pass to O based on a win over a weak Flordia team is completely blind and playing Checkers instead of Chess
