Back in college I went to the Popeyes down Burbank at like 7PM and the woman told me, “we outta chicken baby, all we gots is sidez.”
Teal Impala on the mismatched 24”s with a Charmin bumper sticker that read, “shittin’ on ‘em!” in front of me got their chicken though…

Yeah I don’t think the talent pool at Chik Fil A or Cane’s is looking to jump ship for the Popeyes franchise. Customer base alone would deter anyone.

All I have to do is teach the cooks to spread out the spicy chicken sandwich sauce evenly and you have a nearly perfect business

Has KFC ever had good food/service? My dad said back in the 70s-80s it was awesome, but KFC has always been crap to my generation, similar to Church’s.

Well I’m no hipster but I’ll buy mild chicken at Popeyes. I like the taste of either one, but sometimes the combo of grease and spices gives me the shits. Mild doesn’t.

I don't recall them ever being as bad as the one i'll occasionally go to. It's not even the service. It's just they never have any chicken.

ALWAYS gives me the squirts for the last 10 years or so
I only order spicy on a Friday or Saturday so I have time to recover.

They actually sell more mild chicken and don't fry as much spicy so it goes faster than the mild.
