Anybody following IGN’s “best video game of all time” bracket?

This is the bracket so far with the final 4 set. A lot of questionable upsets. I’m salty as frick that Witcher 3 got crushed so hard by GOW. I haven’t played GOW but had W3 as my winner and personal favorite game. I think it’s going to be between BOTW and GOW with BOTW finished on top.
Oh and burnout 3 over chrono trigger

I’ve also never played Batman: Arkham City but it seems like a frickin stretch for it to make top 8 and beat out dark souls in the process

I’m sorry, it’s a dumpster fire from the start. No Final Fantasy VI or Link to the Past, the tournament is irrelevant. Honestly I think you’d need a tournament of 256 games.

There is no way Ocarina of Time and Skyrim should ever face each other in round 1 of such a tournament.
Same for BOTW and FF7.
Smash Bros Ultimate is also too low of a seed.

Man this is trash. Obviously there’s recency bias and people aren’t considering the games in the scope of their time.
ETA: Now I’ve looked at the seeding. That made it even worse. Skyrim is a 13 despite having a solid argument for being the best RPG of all time. People still play the shite out of it 10 years later.
