What's the point of having a closed roof stadium in Los Angeles

You have the best weather in the country. It never rains. It's never humid. It never gets that cold.

It's beautiful 99% of the time in LA, thats why they moved the film industry there from the Northeast.

So why in hell are you roofing over one of the best settings for a football game in the nation.

It still gets hot

Even with no humidity 90° is hot

Plus other big events need roof

The air quality over there is shite. I live in the bay area, air is pretty shitty. I can only imagine the situation down there.

What if there is no breeze. That place will get up to 110 easily. Not to mention the body odor.

One thing about that roof is depending on how the sun is shining the field may have the worst shadow patterns in the NFL for someone watching the game.

Its less about football. They will host thousands of events there. If the venue is enclosed there is less risk of having to cancel an event.
