So yea, maybe one catch. Looks like he was late picking up that man in a zone look

He was late picking him up and then gave about as weak an effort to tackle him as I can remember seeing an LSU player give.

ETA: It was man coverage, not zone.

Nope, he is due 70% of whatever salary remains on the contract. His contracted annual salary is $6mil through 2025.

After this season, 70% x $6mil x 4 years

You’re forgetting to subtract what he’s already earning and paid this year (which obviously no longer remains as contract salary owed)

Trust me, his buyout at the end of this season is ~ $17m

Actually his buyout as of today is $18m

If that is the mindset of the Stingleys they can leave for all I care. There should be no question about effort once one takes the field and we cannot say that about #7.

Ugly but no less true.

I was of the opinion that O would go quietly because he didn’t want his reputation hurt and wanted to be recognized as a hero for 2019 among his Cajun people. But I’m starting to believe that’s not the case and will battle like the gorilla he his. So pay the man and be done with it. Losing is one thing, but the boosters are not going to deal with this. He’s gone either way.

They paid $4m of the remaining $4.6m, the contract is up... meaning there is no offset in future income.

Pelini could have taken the deal or taken the $4.6m in installments.

Not sure if you're serious.

I’m talking about Les water head. They paid him $1.5 of $6.5 million owed.

Clip I pulled off Twitter was well into the play

Stingley played awesome, regardless. And is one of the 2 best CBS to ever play at LSU

It’s not even clear he’s the best CB on the roster. Ricks looks to be the complete package as well.

Oh the irony…all of these threads are quoting a streaming host who is basically just taking the LSU rumor mill on air and running with it

If anyone on this board is actually Ponamsky it is you

Culotta’s video is the beginning of the end for CEO, it is obvious he is being used by the AD office to start the public discussion about CEO damaging the LSU Brand with his antics and ego

I have it at around $19.2m after the season based on equal salary for all 6 years.

Because if he took the Kansas job there was offsets, they got the offset. The ended the relationship. LSU was entitled by offsets made by Miles. They didn't really get out of anything they weren't already entitled to.

Orgeron isn't getting an offset of any significant value.

I mean this respectfully. You are a genuine fricking retard if you don't think TAF and Woodward with his connections could come up with that money ASAP.

I wish I had the level of money where people could call me up and ask about a coaching buyout.

I suppose if they did I'd have some input on the next head coach?

I'm not sure how that all works with the money people.

Ricks is an exciting playmaker but simply does not cover like Stingley does

I’ve never seen an admin person get under the skin of so many people.

I wouldn’t even know he existed if it weren’t for this board.

So, once again, we’re back to his “fully guaranteed buyout” not being fully guaranteed at all.

Got it. Thanks.

This is not over. When it’s all said and done, o will be destroyed. Whether he gets his buyout or not. We won’t be able to keep him and save face.
