You can say "I love kids" as a general statement, that's fine. It's when you get specific that you get into trouble. "I love twelve-year olds."

“I’m sorry” and “I apologize” mean the same thing.

Except at a funeral.

I don't sit around stressing enough about what other people say to make an OT post about it, but with that said, there are definitely words or phrases that I will judge you harshly for saying.

Men who use the word ‘bae’ deserved to have their arms ripped of and beaten to death with them

I heard a grown man co-worker last week say he was going take a boom boom.

I was like, do what?

He says, a poopie.

You really can't say shite like a normal person?

Speaking to them in baby talk will only make them learn to talk in baby talk, in my opinion. I'm glad the wife and I agreed not to speak to our kids in such a way from day one. Now they (11, 7) have a much better grasp of English than most of the adult population.

Agree with tummy. Also yummy and margs. Margs should be reserved for females.

Margs. That one sets my teeth on edge UNLESS it's on a small sign outside of a bar where margarita will not fit.

Only thing that makes me feel weird is when I catch myself calling my wife "Mama".

Anybody who says "my fave" instead of "my favorite". That's an old one but still stupid.

Also as a protip: Saying some goofy young kid shite like "she's fire" and then following it up with "...as the kids say these days" doesn't get you off the hook. Just talk like a fricking adult.

You're not a grown man if this is something you think about.
