Interesting how the landfall location hasn't changed much at all since the 4 PM advisory, but where it is over land has been swinging back and forth.

Never? Betsy passed directly over BR and had 100 mph winds. We had no power for 10 days.

No it didn't

That is why we joke about BR getting hurricane winds.

Betsy peaked at 58mph sustained/92 gust. Gustav had 61 sustained and 91 gust.

Wow. big shift west on gfs. This is going to rip up 90 from Lafayette to Houma in a way that area hasnt seen in quite a while.

The models are sort of bobbling back and forth a bit in the same general area.

Looks about a 20 mile shift west to me

Instead of the eye passing over Ascension, it’s now Iberville
