I guess not. I hope there is a way we could take them out if they was trying to use them against us. But with this bunch of idiots in charge right now I have no confidence they could stop it. Biden and the current military leadership is like a terrorists wet dream. They all are so incompetent that all these terrorists groups get emboldened anyway. Now throw in they have access to weapons that they never had before and that’s a scary thought.

I just don’t understand why super powers (or anyone) want to occupy Afghanistan anymore. I get it was a critical trade years ago, but that is not significant today.

The only reasons I can think of are the mineral deposits. It's the reason why Afghanistan has been invaded so many times throughout it's history.

Someone very devoted to beliefs and societal structures that reject modernity because they see it as perversion of the spirit. Afghans aren't the only ones with this viewpoint.
