Counselor Troi lives up to her character’s reputation for being a clueless bimbo.

blazes in Lassen County

Lassen County is the most Republican part of California, voting in 2020 for Trump over Biden by a 74%-23% margin.

I predict that could soon change.

They should change the name of the fire from Dixie to something that isn't racist/offensive.

It will automatically become much less destructive, and maybe even put itself out.

I remember the lib environazis sneering and laughing at Trump when he spoke about wild fire mitigation strategies that were being recommended by people in the forestry industry. I read a few months ago that Cali is now scrambling to adopt those same policies.

When Trump was talking about proper forest management, I decided to look up what he was talking about.

Apparently the west had their own version of the pine beetle that caused so much damage in the south. The article I read said that the forestry service had left nearly 9 million, thats million, dead trees standing in Cali due to the tree hugger laws and protests. Its one thing to not clear underbrush, but you leave the equivalent of about 100 million nice dry logs, well ya gonna have a pretty good bonfire.

Yes! Plus decades of poor/no forest management on western national forests contributed to over dense timber stands with much undergrowth led to pine beetle infestations; thus, whole mountainsides of dead trees waiting for a spark.
