U.S. Women’s Soccer Loses To Canada, Ending Shot At Gold

Yeap, a lot of missed shots and this seems to be the lowest scoring team in a long time. Wasnt but a few years ago they were coitized for celebrating after scoring too much on teams.

Politics aside, this is what happens when the "old guard" refuses to move aside.
The core of this year's team is in their LATE 30's. The same thing happened in the 2007 World Cup when the bulk of the team was composed of those who won the title 8 years prior.
The core of this team has been on it since 2010. Their soccer biological clocks have struck midnight.

Maybe Rapahoe's stupid antics were a sort of a deviant twisted way to extend her career. And, I guess, here's what it ultimately gets.
