Getting tested and seeking real treatment instead of asking a bunch of random people on a message board?

Been having covid symptoms since last Friday. The last 3-4 days have been rough. Never had breathing issues but the chills and soreness was godawful. The last couple of nights I completely drenched the bed sweating. I was so weak and cold that I couldn’t even get out of the bed to dry off. I had fever but it never really bothered me, no real headache or anything. Didn’t lose taste or smell but taste salt is amplified by 100 so it’s tough to eat. I’ve barely eaten anything over the last week. I’m feeling slightly better now and hopefully this is the end and I can start eating and get some strength back. It was pretty rough.

My experience sounds similar. The chills several times a day were probably the worst part. I did lose taste and smell though.

No fever. O2 levels good.

I did force myself to eat and drink regularly though. That continually helped with the energy/lethargic issue.

Stay hydrated is the main thing. Hope you feel better soon, good luck.

Doxycycline

I read about this. I was actually on doxycycline for 45 days during the beginning of the pandemic.

I wonder if that helped while I was still working and being around people, masked and unmasked.

get the monoclonal antibody infusion if they'll give it to you. The four people I know that got it recovered pretty quickly

Same as my daughter had a year ago. Never lost sense of smell or taste but lost appetite and everything smelled weird. 7 days in and feeling better she got the liquid shits for 5 days.

When I had it the best advice I got from a doctor friend is to lay on your stomach or face down for extended periods of time. Apparently it opens up other airways in lungs not normally used. Worked for me for what it's worth.

My brother got it a week ago. He’s 56, healthy, no underlying conditions, very active, rides motocross, etc. They told him to take vit B and D, zinc, and baby aspirin. Now a week later he ended up in the ER with 103 fever, lost 11 lbs. (was not overweight), stomach issues, can’t eat, can barely walk due to weakness. They are going to do an antibody infusion tomorrow morning, so I guess that’s the go-to treatment if it doesn’t run its course.
