Why couldn't we use this 'voluntary withdrawal' thing?

Shead will be working at a car wash in 3 years really wishing he hadn’t quit. He should ask Kendall McCallum how that strategy worked out. He wanted back in.

Kid leaves home for college. Kid doesn’t feel comfortable and wants to quit. If he’s a valuable player, coaches move mountains to make him comfortable. If he’s not projected to contribute, he quietly leaves.

You’re not going to hit 25/25 every year, so this isn’t surprising.

But usually it takes 18 months to realize you’ve missed on a player. This took 18 days.

First thing we should ask our next TE recruit

“Are you a pussy that likes to quit?”

It was always a head scratcher for me why this guy got offered in the first place.

I am sure you could have sniffed this out. In fact I am sure your application for the Head Coaching position was mysteriously lost in the mail, thus denying you of your rightful position, now occupied by CEO.

Kind of weird if I’m being completely honest

LSU signed a lb from Arkansas during the Saban era and his position coach told Saban after the first practice that the kid would never play a down here.

Given the fact that the 2021 class was signed with most never visiting or meeting the coaches in person I wouldn’t be surprised to see a good amount of them transfer out early in their time here.

I thought it was odd LSU taking this kid when neither State or Ole Moss offered him

LSU, Alabama, and Ole miss offered. That was his final three when he announces.

MSU didn’t offer because y’all do not use tight ends in y’all’s offense

There has to be more to the story than what we are hearing. He knew he was coming to LSU for months and to leave after one day just doesn't add up. We'll probably find out the truth down the road.

Reliable poster on 247 said he was strictly signed to get Walter Nolan and he told the coaches that he couldn’t handle the workouts. I can’t imagine the stuff coach Moffitt told him when he was struggling with the workouts lol.
