Bargatze spent three months in intensive care at three different hospitals before he underwent the procedure.
Now facing months of rehabilitation, his family says that he wishes he had gotten the vaccine and wants to warn others to get it so they don't risk the same thing happening to them.
Bargatze's mother, Cheryl Nuclo, told WSB-TV that her son was a regular vapor but that he doesn't have any pre-existing conditions.

Any other underlying issues to consider?

No pre-existing conditions? This must be the first lung transplant in the World for Covid19.

Man, some slow readers here...
The man is fat, and mom says he has no pre-existing conditions.

There was one back in March, IIRC the patient had a triple CAB at the same time. That was a helluva surgery.

Obese and a regular vapor?
Other than that, perfectly healthy!

quote:Exactly. Once again, to say he has no pre-existing conditions is disingenuous.

ETA: I hope he makes a full recovery. More ticked off that others are trying to use his case to scare the public over COVID.

I’m a fat guy, and he makes me look small.
I’m no expert, but an obese guy that is a “regular vapor” may...just may have some issues with a respiratory virus.

Morbidly obese vaper. No underlying conditions. That's neat.
