And people wonder why these kids grow up to make terrible life decisions.
Don't you think it should be the opposite? Growing up living through episodes like this...one would think the kids would do anything in their power to NOT be like that when they grow up.

I absolutely hate to say this, but this might be the best thing that can happen to those poor kids. Any kid deserves better than what that woman was providing them.

Miami PD and the officer are lucky he happened to be a black guy. If a white officer (or a white Hispanic) had showed up first this would be a national news story of police brutality.

Sad situation. The 7 year old has a better grasp of actions/consequences than the mother. The 12 year old, with a few more years experience, knows it's not even worth his time to try and talk his idiot mother down.
This. Hang in there kids.
Very sad.

This would be the case if this is a one-off. Unfortunately for this culture this is normal behavior. The children will learn as much.

It didn't take a genius to see that starting up. I'm sure there were some indicators being shown that this would be epic.
There's no way that dumb female said, video this.

That $7200 child tax credit will at least help towards her bail

This is the same woman that is in every Youtube video wrecking a Denny's, Waffle house, airport, convenience store, etc. Why don't they just arrest her when she shows up? This could get her stopped before she wrecks any more things, or people.

And her child is screaming in terror.
Well done mom

On a previous job as a consultant, I had an assignment where I flew in and out of Tucson for about year. Always on American, so I saw the agents all the time, and treated them well.
One Friday evening on the way out, I got to the airport and realized I left something I needed at the office. Others were flying out later than me, so I asked one of them to run it to the airport for me. She agreed, but took their sweet arse time about it, so I was was too late to catch my flight.
I went to the agent that I had seen many times, and said I knew I was too late and could he rebook me for the next morning. He looked at me and said "Mr. X, I see you every week and you're always pleasant. I know you want to get home. Let me see what I can do for you tonight."
This American agent leaves his station and walks down to the United counter and pleads my case, and comes back with United boarding passes. He hands them to me and says-- "Hurry- you have a less than an hour to catch their last flight." I was floored.
Be nice to those guys. Yelling NEVER works.

Without clicking links... I'll guess we should defund the police and atone for being civilized human beings?
