I mean, that is almost the same as getting buried, right?

I really do not care about the environment so even signing up is more effort than I would bother with

I’m damn sure not having my family spend over $20,000 on a dang funeral.

I’m being cremated.

Being out in a coffin is a huge waste of money

This seems like a probable end for me, whether I plan it or not.

Or you can volunteer to help out law enforcement and forensics right here in little ole Texas. They've been doing it for a while.

The FARF is a 26-acre outdoor human decomposition research laboratory at Texas State's Freeman Ranch.

Jack and Ozzy Osbourne went there with their travel show. This is how forensics can tell how long a person has been deceased when they find their body outdoors.

quote:

The Forensic Anthropology Research Facility (FARF) serves as a resource for forensic anthropology students, researchers, as well as state and national law enforcement agencies.

quote:

The Texas State facility is spatially the largest facility of its kind in the world. The FARF is used by the forensic science community to gain knowledge about human decomposition and developing methods for determining the post mortem interval or time since death. The FARF is also used to train forensic anthropology students, law enforcement, and medicolegal personnel in methods for searching and recovering human remains in a medicolegal context.

I told my wife to turn me into an avocado tree so I can still enjoy taco Tuesday’s with them.

She said no.

I would rather be consumed by sea creatures. Naked burial at sea would be my choice. Think about Whiznot the next time you eat gulf shrimp.

I thought there were medical reasons not to just let a body decay, even in the ground and then plant stuff in the resulting soil.

Hopefully the people using this soil for food growing will mark the packages.
