One executive was caught stealing with some scheme with expenses. Guy was retired military brass, long career at the company, and blew it. It was over $100k.
So how much you think he bilked the federal government for?

Dude who sat in the cubicle directly across from mine went and smoked meth at lunch, came back and completely passed out.
We all took pics with him and beta management came by, saw and didn’t do anything at all.
Weird dude. Computer programmer who was gay and cross dressed and did a hell of a lot of drugs in his spare time.
Shreveport, La. glad I got the hell out of there

HR manager got caught being a craigslist hooker and using her company computer, phone and even email address to setup dates. There was some pretty graphic shite on her computer. Boss was kind of an a-hole and made the poor IT guy go through all of it.

An old head conductor, had over 30 years in, got busted as a peeping tom. Guy was known to be a photographer, but apparently he was getting suited up like a ninja in black and climbing trees and antenna towers to take pics of naked broads with his telephoto lens',
Got fired. No felons allowed on the railroad.

Not very crazy, but I was caught by the health inspector at my summer restaurant job grabbing some salad of fridge and putting it into a bowl with my bare hands. I can't remember exactly but we lost a couple points on the health inspection off that one and my buddies busted my balls awhile for it.
My wife worked at a place that had 2 guys in the warehouse in 1 year picked up on warrants by swat.

anyone who had to make long distant calls was issued an individual code to make those calls on the company phone. One of the hourly guys, who had no need to make LD calls got a hold of the VP of operations code and then proceeded to run up a nice phone bill, that was back when they had all the 1-900 numbers. It took a month or so to id the guy who was then promptly fired.

When I worked at the shitty finance company, I had a manager who was stealing people's mortgage payments to fuel her coke addiction.
She was doing loan extensions on these mortgages, which basically moves that months payment to the end of the loan. So these people thought they paid their mortgage, when in fact that payment was tacked onto the end of the loan.
It took us a year to unfrick what she fricked up on those loans.
I heard she died of an overdose a couple of years ago.

Years ago when I was employed at a big NOLA law firm, a partner walked into the mens room and found the autistic mailroom guy sitting in a bathroom sink washing his dick. The partner screams, "What in the hell are you doing?!!!"
His reply....
wait for it.....
"I have a cold."

18 year old deckand got drunk, picked up a chick and took a sight seeing boat out for a spin in the harbor one night at 2a. Doing donuts around buoys. When the Coast Guard pulled them over, both were naked and not afraid.
Some things are worth getting fired for

Good question. Crazy to think about what they know he did vs. what he got away with. Crazier to think, this dude was SVP level, making minimum $250k plus bonuses.

OK - I've got 2 from a couple of jobs ago...
#1 - The VP of HR was in too deep with his drug dealer so he let the drug dealer in the back door of the executive offices and let him scrounge around and steal whatever he could find. He ended up taking the CFO's purse. The guy is on camera prowling around but they don't have any idea how he got in (that wasn't on cam). Police investigated and end up finding video at a nearby gas station that show the drug dealer and the VP of HR talking with each other before the robbery. The VP of HR promptly went on leave and resigned. He's now working within 1/2 mile of where this all went down.
#2 - we get a new CEO and my boss (IT Director) helps him get set up on his first day. After a few months, there are layoffs and my boss is let go. I am promoted to interim IT Director.
A few weeks later, the CEO comes to my office and closes the door. Someone had emailed his wife proof from HIS work email that he was having an affair. He wanted to know how that could happen. I asked if anyone knew his password and he said it was on a pad of paper next to his desk.
Once we got his account secured, I started investigating and pretty much confirmed that in the months between my old boss helping the CEO and until the day we secured his account, she had been logging into his email via web daily. I had to connect a few dots to figure it out but it wasn't apparent unless you had outside knowledge.
She was good to me when I worked for her and we are still friends. I told the CEO that I could see the activity but "wasn't able to" trace where it was coming from. They brought in a security consultant and he wasn't able to figure it out either. They chalked it up to one of the 70-80 people that were let go and the CEO learned a big lesson about password security...and hopefully fidelity.
I once casually mentioned it to my old boss years later to see if she would fess up and she didn't so I dropped it. This might be the first time I have told anyone about it other than my wife.

Shifts for sex with agency workers.
Think they were lucky not to get jail time once it all came out
I’ve heard of loads of others:
One guy caught TWICE by police spanking his monkey in a works van while parked in a supermarket carpark
About 20 years ago a lot of our offices had bars in them, so all sorts of stories of shagging and fights that were covered up

Oh, I forgot this one.
Way back when I was still stuck in MS, we had a guy shooting smack in the bathroom.
He was a machinist. He got busted because he went back to work and nodded off in front of a goddamned running lathe.

We had a guy get fired, and he told everyone it was because he overused his calling card while in the FE. Same guy that got in trouble for having a beer in plain view on a call with execs... and then we found out on an overseas trip, via the president, that the guy was fired because he submitted a receipt for massage in his expense report. The expense reports were handled by the team in that region, and knew exactly what this place was, lol.
Was it an accident? Dunno. If this guy tried to expense a rub and tug, glorious effort....
