Prayer is gonna make Shreveport safer!!

Yep, 2 days of prayers are going to stop the daily drive bys, carjackings and armed robberies.

This is not satire. They’re seriously doing it.

No way that would work in BR. We would need to pray for at least a week.

David Raines Road/Dr. Martin Luther King Drive
Mayfair Drive/ Algonquin Trail
Union Avenue/Hollywood Avenue
Line Avenue/3132 Terry Bradshaw Passway (north side)
Crabapple Drive/Baird Road
Monkhouse Drive/Hollywood Avenue
Broadway/Hollywood Avenue
Hearne Avenue/Hollywood Avenue
Linwood Avenue/Hollywood Avenue
70th Street/Hollywood Avenue
Linwood Avenue/70th Street
Mansfield Road/70th Street

With these great locations they picked. A safe bet is there will be violence at at least a few of the meetings

Glad they’re stepping up to end “snitches get stitches.”

A lot of shite going on in Bossier, but I have to give them credit. They are arresting folks and getting stuff done.

So they are going to pray they start holding the kids of their own communities accountable instead of excusing their behaviors?

Seeing as the subculture committing the violence is basically Godless, I'm not sure this will do the trick.

We have a very religious population, especially African American. Of course they don’t think this is going to magically end violence but thanks for portraying it that way.

Prayer should not be used in the short term and begging for an answer. It’s a process. And murder in Shreveport isn’t going anywhere. The media has crippled police.

Funny, I’ve heard Democrats say “thoughts and prayers don’t work” in regards to gun violence.
