So I got a bottle from the doc and just did my first 100mg injection. I’m going to do that dose once per week. Should I expect anything noticeable? I got blood work done and I was in the low 400 range.

Im low 30s and have been in eating clean and working out pretty hard 5 days a week. Gains?

Wait, you get to inject yourself? I have to go to my dr.'s office once a month for my shots.

I'm starting to consider doing this.

I've noticed in my mid 30s I don't have that screw you energy to do whatever I want for hours on end.

Any recommendations for BR area?

Which ester are you taking? First couple doses you should start to notice more energy throughout the day. More confidence and drive to get more done.

I thought you had to be around 300- for TRT? I am 46 and popped out a 440 and they told me I did not qualify. Well at least from an insurance perspective.

I was 29 with levels in the low 100’s. 100mg/week changed my life.

I finally convinced my GP to include testosterone in my annual physical bloodwork a couple of years ago. It was slightly less than the low end of the range for my age. I didn’t do anything about it because I felt like my body felt as good as my 20’s.

I got it checked a few months ago and was barely in the normal range (maybe 252?). I’m in my 40s and still feeling great, weights & basketball good as ever, little fella doing great, usually sleep well, plenty of energy.

Soft tissue injuries such as calf strains are more common now but I try to manage it. Would higher test have any impact on that? Or any other benefits besides gainz (which I don’t think is a big goal anyway)?

Let me give you a word of warning on something to expect for a while at the beginning. I started taking it and suddenly my whole self worth was wrapped up in my wife’s desire for me sexually. The problem was we had a baby so she was worn out and couldn’t keep up with my needs. Looking back I was pretty unreasonable and it caused some fights. Nothing major but we don’t fight a lot so it wasn’t good. If I wasn’t grounded in my faith I could see a moment like that leading to a temptation to cheat. At the time I didn’t really connect it to the testosterone I had started taking (I guess it should have been obvious). I also had more of a temper. But this all evened out over time and all is good now. It has certainly been a net positive.

Didn't read all the answers here but dont inject 100mg once per week. I inject .22ml subQ. In belly fat every other day. I use a 1/3ml syringe with 31cc needle. Your estrogen and test levels will be much more balanced

First injection, absolutely nothing

Second - Fourth (honeymoon week), you'll feel like superman until the little sister called "estrogen" shows up.

Gains?

If you've been lifting already, try pushing yourself. Put over 100 lbs on my bench and gained 20 lbs of muscle since I started TRT but keep eating clean.

Anybody have anxiety issues prior to beginning TRT? I’m on antidepressants and have read TRT can help.
