If LSU doesn’t win a game in the SEC Tournament will we make a Regional?

Would be nice to beat Georgia because the committee is going to compare LSU and Georgia when they decide.

Probably but not definitely. It would have a lot to do with how many bid stealers there are.

If we lose to UGA in G1, we are 50-50 to get into NCAA.
If we beat UGA and lose next two to Arkansas and Ole MIss/State, we are 70-30 to get in.
If we win 2 games, we are 100% IN.

Yes I think LSU needs some more insurance, I don't particularly think that the NCAA would work very hard to squeeze us in. So let's make it a no-brainer.

Maybe, maybe not. It will depend on how the rest of the bubble teams do in their conference tournaments. It won't be in our hands and we will be either one of the last teams in or one of the first teams out.

If the committee picks 8 SEC teams, it's between us and UGA, who we play Tuesday. However, our resume is better than UGA. RPI of 22 versus 42.

The committee absolutely loves to screw over LSU when they get the chance. Whether it be keeping LSU out when they should be in (2006, 2011) or shipping LSU far out west when LSU doesn't host (2010, 2018).

A lot depends on outcomes and upsets in Conference Tournaments. The 15-35 team that miraculously wins a Tournament is just one more slot not available to LSU.

I think if we beat Georgia it's 100%. We basically tied for 8th with them and the NCAA's will definitely take 8 from the SEC. Still a chance if we lose but guaranteed if we win

Yes we are already in. Also regardless of what happens Tuesday both LSU and Georgia are in. Obviously still want to win the game though.

If you are trying to debate which of the two teams are better, eliminate the homers, I think a large majority of people would find LSU to be the better team by wins and losses. We swept nobody, we got swept by 2 teams, which makes teams worse than us that didn’t get swept have similar records(Georgia, Kentucky, bama). We didn’t play the worst teams in the conference like Georgia, bama, and Kentucky did.
If we don’t get in, it isn’t because Georgia bumped us, it’s because a team in another conference looked better. IMO
