Always knew Steve Scalise was a snake

He brought Donna Brazile to Xiden"s inauguration. Louisiana has the worst politicians - Cassidy, Scalise and I'm not even sure about Kennedy.

If true, that troubles me about Scalise. I guess taking a bullet from a Bernie extremist didn't show him the light about the left and their motivations.

Scalise was pretty much hands off during the 2019 Louisiana Governor's race and never said so much as a negative word about JBE even though he gave a token endorsement to Eddie Rispone. He never thought he should deign to give some help in defeating the liberal democrat that's occupying the Governor's mansion.
If I were Scalise, I would've been taking a sledgehammer to JBE and painting him as the personification of good ole boy corrupt Louisiana politics.

Y’all deserve better.
It may be time for a grassroots effort within your state to create smaller, local enclaves of advocacy for the purpose of keeping a closer watch on your government and acting accordingly.
People have GOT to stand up.

The first job of career politicians is to protect their careers, i.e., to stay in office. No matter what they say. The real solution would be to make "careers in politics" obsolete, by funneling less money (and, hence, power) through government.
