Trump supporters 4 years ago: stop being offended by so much

Now: disney offends me because they changed rides.

Weird response to a pretty nuanced take about ole' Spleen

I could have just called him a cuck, instead I provided a couple of different possibilities about how he's a cuck

They don’t even know that Disney World is not in Orlando and that Orlando has absolutely no control over anything Disney chooses to do.

That's Cocomo, he posts here.

Well this guy looked like a Yankee Ignatius Reilly with greasy hair. And his wife had horse teeth, and was wearing a sequin Mickey shirt with sequin Mickey shorts all brought together with a sequin Mickey fanny pack.

So yeah, he could have been Cocomo.

Meh. I do think wokeness does go too far at times. We're talking about cast members' tattoos and haircuts, and honestly I'm not even sure what that means. Just seems like a silly thing to get upset over, but I'm with you on the insanity of Disney culture. Those people are fricking loons. We've been to Disney a couple of time, and the level of service from staff/cast members there is great. Can't imagine letting their haircut or their tattoo impact my experience, but I also don't give a shite if they're "in character" or not. It has no impact on me enjoying Space Mountain.

Very true, but you did skip the part where Disney changed rides because they were worried about offending people.

But the weird thing is an opinion piece by a fat Disney-obsessed guy has cucked a lot of you. And y'all can't stand fat guys or Disney.

I don't really know if this would actually make a difference for me but apparently it's a big deal

The tats/hair thing seem more like a 90s Christian Coalition take, but again I don't really know what that means and how it impacts the "experience". The elimination of characters and beloved storylines to appease the perpetually-offended seems like it should be the heart of the issue here.

What kind of man gives a shite.

Part of the problem is not just societal wokeness, its that most of you are bitch arse pansies.

A man takes his kids to the theme park so that they/the family can enjoy the time together. Men dont bitch about this stupid shite and certainly dont take from their children because they are butthurt

I don't think so

I think the fat cuck is the voice of the voiceless here

The argument would be that Disney cucked us by way of their cuckery

Meh

I'll bring my kids skiing in the Rockies, swimming in Turks and Caicos, cliff jumping in the Adriatic, sailing in South America, and eating pasta in Italy. You can have Disney - and for just as much or more money than I'm spending.

Taking my son & 3 of his friends fishing in Costa Rica in 2 weeks. Then we have a trip to the US Open in Torrey Pines in June.

I've dumped money into the Disney experience once when my kids were 5 & 8 yrs old - NEVER AGAIN once they saw what a real vacation was.

Why don’t they just make Woke World with Tranny Trampolines and Floyd’s Fentanyl Express and see what kind of crowds they can draw vs cramming their agenda down the throats of those who want nothing to do with it?

One angle of this is that a LOT of Disney employees are gay. Perhaps this was a move to improve employee morale and/or better recruit and attract good employees.

The knee-jerk is to assume Disney caved to woke culture, but it's possible this was a business decision aimed at better employee recruitment and retention.

Correct.

But I could GAF about haircuts and tats. I don’t care if the Kroger cart boy is tatted up with a mullet, so this wouldn’t bother me either.

Recently, Disney announced that cast members are now permitted to display tattoos, wear inclusive uniforms and display inclusive haircuts.

I'm a conservative and as opposed to returning to Disney World as one can be; it's obscenely expensive and half-a-day's drive from my home, but what could possibly be so offensive about a staff member's tattoos, uniform, or haircut that it could sour your entire vacation? What do these staff members look like and how many are there? Not judging, but curious...
