Wow! I had another roast beef Po boy from Cannatella‘s grocery in mid city. Not only the best roast beef but the best sandwich in Baton Rouge! A little tip: I asked them to add some peppercionni peppers. It takes it to a whole new level

All of their sandwiches are fire. The muffuletta ordered hot/toasted is outstanding.

Do they do this panini pressing shite with their roast beef poboys?

Pressed panini sandwiches can be a good thing, but they AREN'T poboys. I don't understand why every place in Baton Rouge now serving "poboys" or muffulettas has decided they need to start doing this to them.

Sammy's does this. Had a shrimp po boy yesterday there and it's pressed. They even advertise they use Leidenheimer bread and it ruins it.

I like Gattuso's in Gretna with it's pot roast po boy which I prefer to sliced.

I once had the deep fried roast beef poboy from Jacques-Imo's and it was so damn good. Admittedly, not the smart order the night before running a half marathon and I paid the price, but no ragerts.

Da Wabbit, down the road from Gattusos, is better. Also pot roast style.
