Outside of experience, I don't really see what he brings to the table over guards already on the roster.

Well he averaged double digit points the last 2 years, so maybe a little offensive punch

Like I been saying on the recruiting board.

He's okay and will start for us but not sure if he makes us that much better to make a difference.

Now if he can somehow become more consistent then maybe we are in business.

points are meaningless with you shoot 38fg & 32 3pt like he has the last two years in the SEC. That is terrible. Anyone can do that.

Xavier Pinson is a scorer through and through.

He and Missouri didn't really fit, but he can fill it up. He's a volume scorer, so for those of you who hated Cam Thomas are going to be upset. However, with who we lost, we need dudes who can put it in the bucket. This is a good get for our team. A veteran SEC player who has always been considered one of the best offensive playmakers in the league

Agreed. Whether he's putting the ball in the basket or creating opportunities for other players. We need playmakers after losing basically all of our offensive production.

He immediately becomes LSU’s most proven shot getter/scorer, and can easily serve as a secondary ball handler. He’s not some great player, but he fills a need.

You are right but I was hoping for a home run transfer. Hope I'm wrong but not sure he will help much

I think McClung from TX Tech may have been the smarter play if we could get him, but not a bad pickup.

If he was averaging 18 ppg at some mid major instead of 12 ppg in the SEC everyone would be creaming their shorts. The reality is most transfers are not home runs, just singles and doubles where you pick up guys who provide depth and give you one or two things on the court to shore up projected weaknesses. Pinson can definitely do that for us
