I've been fist bumping since before it started. I don't know where your hand has been.
I shook hands one time in the last year and that's when I bought a car.

I bet you are one of those guys who like to squeeze the frick out of someone's hand too.
People obsessed with handshakes like you are generally odd people or boomers .

Fist bumping is the preferred method of greeting a neighbor in these interesting times. This is also a perfect opportunity to do a quick knuckle check in the event of a border dispute that leads to a Sonic meeting in the future.

I can put up with a fist bump which was here before Covid and even though it seems bro/street or something but I quit acknowledging the elbow tap months ago. If someone gives me their pointy elbow after I put my hand out..I'll pass.

Honestly, it’s on my list of shite that I wouldn’t mind changing post-COVID.

Add distancing in grocery stores and just lines in general.

I'm not offended by anything, but I find this stupid. With the availability of vaccines, no matter how scared you were/are of covid, you should be over it. The same goes for the idiots still wearing masks.

People who don't shake hands probably don't because they are sickly people that are always ill. Coincidentally, because they don't shake hands.

The best way to build your immune system is to introduce it go a lot of low-level germs. Shaking hands is a great way to do this and build herd immunity. The only time you might want to not do this is with foreigners or people from isolated community groups.

If we are giving up handshakes as a society, I will not miss the handshake with that guy who applies aftershave or cologne using his hands and then you shake hands and have to smell that for hours on your own hands, the smell lingering long after a hand washing. That ought to be illegal.

That’s their problem not mine. Someone doesn’t want to shake my hand, then fine, you can still live in fantasy land while I’ll go back to living in the real world.

Shaking a hand is a form of respect that you trust them, trust they are clean.

Why should I declare my trust that I think the last restroom you hit had good soap and none of the door handles or pens you’ve picked up had something transferable on them?

Even very respectable and clean people have germs on their hands.

I'm sorry your immune system is as limp-wristed as you are.

At work if I just washed my hands and I’m headed out to lunch I avoid touching anything. Especially shaking hands. But it’s not a COVID thing.
