be clear I downvoted you! Yes it's the trifecta. But I'm tire of people automatically dismissing accusations be care they are tired of hearing about it! Everyone who makes these allegations aren't lying. But I'll also admit there are enough people crying wolf to unfortunately hurt the people that are telling the truth. I have enough common sense to know Everyone isn't lying!
I get what you’re saying, but it doesn’t apply here as much as you want it to.
She’s claiming being discriminated against by another black person and a woman. Lewis was just someone deemed an easy target in all of this.
She’s also had such a successful career spanning 3 head coaches because she’s a smart, organized, relatable, black lady who is unbelievable with parents of recruits who almost always are black.
If anything, her race and gender have allowed her to get to this point.

This feel traitorous to me.

for what? exposing the shitty culture that is LSU?
typical behavior for most in South Louisiana, dont take responsibility and instead get mad at someone pointing out the flaws.
Did the Blackwell report not confirm pretty much everything they reported? Did it not shine the light on a complete and utter incomptent AD? did it not show LSU did indeed have a culture problem?
Yall sound exactly like the race baiters when someone points out a culture problem in a certain race. LSU has a fricking culture problem. Its gotten better, especially since Miles was fired, but its not where it needs to be.

Well if someone like Sharon, who went to LSU, has been there for almost 2 decades now and loves LSU, has to be the one to come out and say these things......how bad do you think it really is?
This is real simple, if you truely love LSU and what it represents, then you want these things fixed and corrected. If you only care about the football team winning.....then you will be upset over this.
To me the fact that you feel someone pointing out a huge culture issue is traitorous, reflects more on you and your ability to have some self perception.

100% agree, I just don't want people to get so triggered, they don't realize what the big picture of she is saying is.

The only thing that really bothers me is that the whole focus of this is on the athletic dept, when it's clear the issues aren't isolated there.
I understand that's what sells papers, but for real change to happen, it needs to happen across the university.
But what's really going to happen is that some superficial changes will be made in the athletic dept and the rest of the university with keep going business as usual.

Yep. I dont think the culture issue is strictly an AD thing. its campus wide. all of this stems from the whole Protect the brand and I have a life long job culture that LSU has. Doesnt matter if you are good at the job, just have to stay out the spotlight and protect the brand.
frick all these mother frickers, including Verge, LES Miles....all of them.

Is anyone actually post the article snippets? I’m not paying to read that trash

She wants to “create a path for other women in football” by suing the school for money. Makes sense.

This is why just throwing out terms like racist, sexist, homophobic, etc. every time something isn’t 100 percent going the way you want is dangerous. When everything is one of those things people get numb to hearing it and when actual racism and sexism happens society will just dismiss it. It makes it really hard to see the actual bad people when you claim everyone is bad.

Sharon is good for LSU. I hope this gets them off her back. She’s really good with recruits’ families and does a lot behind the scenes

Yet somehow les miles actually got money to go away. They had one the of reason to fire him for cause many times over.

To be clear I think the race part of it is Total BS, but I don't want people dismissing what she is saying because they heard race! Believe me if the things she is saying are even remotely true. She is giving a gift to all of the people that wanted certain individuals fired! It's done they are gone. They can't protect any of them at this point. Sharon will be gone too! No way she stays after this! How in the hell dud LSU not know the had this level of employee this disgruntled an not have seen this coming

Considering they believe I am a racist and celebrate criminals and communists, let it burn.

Among the incidents she described was a meeting on Miles’ second or third day on the job. Miles told a coach in the room that he preferred blondes, not brunettes, working in his office. He said it without looking at Lewis, even though she was right next to him, she said.
About a month later, according to Lewis, Miles said of a blond woman they hired, “Now she’s the face of recruiting.” Lewis perceived his comments as racist, she said.
Sharon Lewis started working for LSU football in 2001, when Nick Saban was the head coach. A former All-SEC heptathlete and high jumper, she had helped the Tigers win national outdoor track and field championships in 1988, 1989 and 1991.

Lewis said Miles came to her office and told her they had “too many fat girls, Black girls and ugly girls,” and they “look like a bad bowling team.” She said he described ugly girls as “a.m. girls” who should be relegated to office work, and “blondes with big boobs” as “p.m. girls” who should be at recruiting events for people to look at.
I mean, the goal is to get recruits. At least Miles knew what recruits like.

She covered everything possible I think. Wait she could have claimed age discrimination somehow right?
Seriously fat shaming, racism, anti gay, sexism, intimidation. No mention of religion tho, that's another one she missed.

So Saban sucked at recruiting? because Sharon was doing the same job for him and I seem to remember recruiting alot better under him.
Even so, you can fricking say that kind of shite in a professional environment adn think its ok.
