Mickelson Is A National Treasure

Reading Masters week articles and read one on golf.com about the traditions of younger players interacting with vets for practice rounds. Had a couple of Phil anecdotes that were winners.
Phil likes to ask rookies what their dinner plans are on Tuesday nights. Of course Phil has the whole Champions dinner and such....
Another player told the story of Phil inviting him to have lunch in the Champions Locker Room. Well into their lunch Phil leaves and comes back wearing his Green Jacket. “Sorry man, didn’t mean to leave you, but I was a little cold and wanted to put on a jacket.” There is no retort to that.

A buddy of mine is a part of Jordan’s circle. They have a poker game, etc.
Jordan got burned on a few hands and got pissed and I think finished last in that game. The next week, he showed up in the Green Jacket and won.
Another story, CH3 was giving TW shite on not finishing at Stanford. TW response “well, I have two Masters” (at that time).

Not sure as I wasn't there but do think it was shortly after his win and before he moved into Hunter Mahan's house which I think was after the '15 British

He’s being interviewed now on Golf Channel on Live at the Masters. Every other couple questions is about the bullshite voting thing and just other politics. He just said he’s not answering any questions about politics he will live by his beliefs and treat people good. He said no matter what it never turns out good so I won’t speak on them. These frickin people askin are pieces of shite looking to frick him by saying the wrong thing or right it doesn’t matter

I've never seen the guy be anything other than a class act. His putt on the rolling ball was an overreaction but that is the only thing I can think of that he did that was borderline not-classy. Personally I liked the move.

Personally love Phil just because hes always having fun. Like new Tiger too but old Tiger and off the course Tiger is a douche bag of epic proportions.
