Really cool to see his game grow every year. He’ll make money playing basketball for a long time either in the NBA or overseas. Ferocious competitor.

Kid always played with fire. Will always remember the Tenn game his freshman year. Thought we had zero chance because Tre was out and someone else too and as a freshman he just dominated.

Javonte is a dog.

So happy and proud that he helped turn the culture around at LSU.

Thanks Javonte.
Some of these clowns sure did shite on you last couple of years, but you're a dog.
Good luck to you.
Tiger forever.

It was fun to watch him evolve from a FR that always went 100 mph, to a good 3 pt shooter with a dynamite floater in the lane. He showed hard work pays off.

Such a great Tiger. If you listen to Wade you know Smart is the leader of this team. Loves taking guys under his wing and being a big brother to the youngsters and is described by Wade as a people pleaser. Changed his game a lot to become a reliable point guard, sacrificed his scoring to lead this team. One of my favorite Tigers of alltime.

Me too. I saw him play several times in high school and have always been impressed. I wish him well at the next level.

My only complaint with him is that this type of performance he always had it in him. He disappeared a lot of times, but I will miss him dearly.

He absolutely put on for the city, and he brought a swagger to our program that I hope will live on even when he leaves. He and Watford had some really poor games at times, but their confidence and swagger was contagious and it’s something other players fed off.
