That's awful. He's done a lot of good for his community post playing career.

That's awful.

I'd like to know what time of day it happened and on what road because I would imagine Shawn Bradley on a bicycle would be pretty hard to miss

That’s awful. I used to hate him as a player, but changed my opinion of him when I found out he was one of the nicest people in the world.

That’s horrible.

Also how oblivious must someone be to not see a 7’6” human being on a bicycle

Any chance of a recovery? Sometimes this stuff happens and the people end up walking again.

I would like to see the bicycle that is built for someone the size of Bradley. I doubt he could just show up at the local bike store and pick one up from the showroom floor.

How do you miss seeing a 7'6" man riding a bike?

Terrible. Hope he recovers.

Can't even ride a bike anymore w/o a drunk moron running over you.

Distracted driving (texting, scrolling, etc) is FAR more prevalent and maybe even more dangerous than the few drunks that are still on the road.

Hell, I even knew a woman who's husband was hit by A Legally BLIND driver who was out joyriding on a country road.

In saying that, I've never met someone who rides bikes regularly who has never had a serious injury from a wreck or been hit/clipped by a car. There are just too many people not paying attention on the road.

Horrible. A CRNA I worked with in laffy lost his son this way a couple years ago. Kid was late teens maybe twenty years old at the time. Truly terrible. Idk how you don’t see someone as big as him.

Before cell phones, I only saw one or two drivers weaving to the point I thought they were drunk.

Since cell phones, I see one or two drivers weaving to the point I think they are drunk every time I go somewhere, but they are (likely) sober and on the phone.
