Serious melting over Texas opening up 100% and ending mask mandate

quote:
Governor Greg Abbott has announced he's re-opening businesses in Texas 100% and removing the mask mandate.
TX is LAST in per capita vaccinations. 93.5% of the state has not yet been fully vaccinated. Don't ever let a republican tell you they're "pro-life" again.
quote:
Governor Abbott’s failure to listen to science and medical advice will cost Texans their lives. This decision is reckless and dangerous—and a desperate distraction from the Governor’s dereliction of duty during the power outages. He’s putting politics above the people of Texas.
quote:
This virus has killed more than 40,000 Texans. @GregAbbott_TX's response? Ignore health professionals, attack mask rules, & endanger lives to score political points. Locally, we must continue wearing masks & caring for our sick, despite the cowardice of our governor.
quote:
This fool is opening Texas 100% and ending the statewide mask mandate, literally against scientific guidance, JUST SAY YOU WANT PEOPLE TO DIE, GREG
quote:
He's reopening Texas "100 percent" and people are going to die.
quote:
At best, this is wishful thinking, that COVID is somehow less dangerous than it was yesterday. At worst, it is a cynical attempt to distract Texans from the failures of state oversight of our power grid.
quote:
Texas lifting COVID restrictions pains me deeply. A distraction from deadly winter storms, it will likely be popular. But best science says it's far too soon. We're so close. Vaccines bring hope. Hope. Remember that? Can we please not spike footballs before we hit the end zone?
quote:
Texas 100%. I think Texas just seceded from the USA. They are doing their own thing and ppl have died due to Abbott's policies. Texas you are on your own now. Watch your COVID numbers spike, just watch. If I lived in Texas, I'd be packing my house and move the frick away.

It’s like they are scared of a good economy.

Okay, but now tell me the percentage of Texans who don't want the vaccine.

Moments ago, on the day 25 new deaths raise
@dallascountytx
death toll above 3k,
@GovAbbott
lifted all his state orders designed to protect you and those you care about from #COVID19. You should focus on what doctors,facts and science say is safe; not on what Gov. says is legal!

I’m a Texan and literally freaking out. This will cause me not to send my child back in person starting next year now after feeling I HAD to for his mental and physical health. I’m in tears and shaking. I can’t handle this. Can local entities do anything about this?

So...I just figured out Texas' plan to get Californians to not just stop moving there, but to frick right back off to where thy came from.
This might be quite the little strategy...

People have been F'ing Brainwashed by the Prog Fith.
This Soi Boi is a Dumb arse, unsealed masks don't do shite to stop an aerosolized virus. Most people don't wear them correctly and in many cases the masks could be driving infections b/c of increased frequency of touching your face or using dirty masks which can cause bacterial infections in the lungs.

I clicked on that link just to see if it was my next door neighbor, because I was 95% sure her name would come up as soon as the link opened. Not sure how to feel about it. Glad or disappointed it wasn't her.
