I know, I get it, goto duckduckgo or whatever but I have been using Chrome for like a decade

Heard and radio commercial this morning for BHM. The young lady's advice to young black boys and girls was "Be un-apologetically black."
This at the same time we hear people saying thing's like. "White people should stop acting so white."
This got me thinking. First, if you judge people and automatically assume things about people because of the color of their skin frick you, you racist POS.
Second, If the racial climate and division these people seem to be fighting against doesn't already exist, boy o boy it certainly will in a few years if they don't back away from these stupid blame games they are playing.

I checked my calendar app on android just to see what a particular date was (eta: it IS my google calendar with my personal gmail stuff on it, not just a random calendar like on Windows), anyway, the first day of March has "First Day of Women's History Month" across the entire field.
WTF? A) I never knew such a thing even existed. B) Why the frick would I ever need that on a calendar? Ever. Why would anyone? C) Why is Google putting shite like that on its users' calendars? It isn't a holiday anywhere for anyone, ever. No one ever planned anything around it. I've now spent more time posting on the OT about it than anyone should ever spend even acknowledging it.

Eta: why doesn't EVERY gender have its own month? I know there aren't enough months for that but at least try, you bigots. (and sorry, changed the width to the universal OT number of treefiddy)

if these companies / platforms want to virtue signal. then virtue signal your hearts out. it actually helps me make decisions on who gets my business.
but i do wish there would at least incorporate some setting to turn off their virtue signaling. Like Amazon Prime or Hulu. Let me uncheck a radio button in my settings, so i can just see the normal content without all the virtue signaling extra. Is that too much to ask for?
