As a deaf man, Rush Limbaugh inspired me with his success and ability to reach millions though a simple microphone.
I may have agreed with him damn near every day but even in the times where I didn't agree with him, I still appreciated him challenging my views even if I didn't change my opinion on the issue.
A patriot to the very end.
May he feel the eternal warmth of GOD's presence and golden sunlight as he walks the golden streets of the Kingdom of Heaven and sees GOD on his throne every day.
Amen.

First time was when George Bush Senior went back on his no new taxes pledge. Rush was having a field day roasting him. I thought WOW. Here’s someone that makes a lot of sense to me. He sold it with wisdom and wit. His Gulf War One bit was golden. I loved you man. Go in peace.

Not many are on a level of people we don't know personally, but their passing moves us to tears. Rush is on this level. Thank you for being a brilliant voice for millions of American patriots and helping educate millions more on what being an American means. A conservative legend for sure, but an American first. The man loved this country and her people with every ounce of his being, including his critics whether they understood it or not. RIP Rush.

Probably peeing on themselves with glee. Rush did do much good and was constantly maligned, just like my president Trump.

He was the first guy I heard on radio (or TV) who said what I was thinking, but said it better than how I thought it.
This was something the left never seemed to grasp, or if they did they ignored it.
While it was certainly true that Rush was influential, the reason he took off like he did was because someone on the national stage was saying things that people around the country were thinking or saying to each other but were not seeing in any national spokesperson. Like so many, one of the first things I remember about listening to Rush was thinking, "Yeah...EXACTLY!" Not, "You know what...he's right." It was more often than not a confirmation of what I already thought, but delivered in a way I was unable to and on a stage I did not have access to.

Lost my step-father today as well. He was a big time Rush fan. Going in together.

Our country has lost a national treasure. Such a sad day that I have been dreading since he announced his diagnosis of cancer. I feel a great loss... as if a great friend has passed away. He was an incredible talent that was truly “on loan from God”. RIP El Rushbo
Dittos forever.
Dittos forever.

For 30 years rush gave me hope that all was not lost. That others believed and fought for truth.
It is time to pick up his torch and carry the fight to the enemy.

Never be another like Rush.
I havent read the whole thread so not sure if its been posted, but today this moment was on my mind. Such an awesome moment for the man. He had no clue it was coming, and it obviously meant a lot to him. And today was the first time I noticed Nancy smugly sitting on her drunk arse as he received the honor.

Horrible for future of Conservative party
He chewed up Rhinos for lunch, and they couldn't do a thing about him. The voices now will get silenced by their own.
Party in trouble, and we lose the biggest voice of party.
RIP
