Arby's is the phonetical pronunciation of RBs, which is shorthand for Roast Beef...

I had their brisket sandwich once & it was good for what it was.

Not since they served us roast beef that was green. Wasn’t even St Patrick’s day. Never again. I’ve heard of aged beef but that’s crazy.

Trust me if you saw the roast beef before it was cooked you wouldn't eat it. Looks like a giant blob of fat and jelly.

If you love meat and sandwiches, its a solid fast food option

I put Arby’s in the upper echelon of fast food. I just find the quality of their meats to be better than just about everyone else’s. Love the beef and cheddar. Their curly fries may be the best fries around, but even so, I almost always get the potato cakes - my favorite fast food side item. It’s like a supersized McDonald’s hash brown. Back in the day they had the best fast food hamburger around (1/3 lb.). But during the raging anti-fat campaign in the ‘80s they chose the “lean roast beef” angle for their advertising pitch and ditched the burger . Used to get their Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich after they ditched the burger, but nowadays it’s beef and cheddar.

Oscar: Who wants food?

Murray: What do you got?

Oscar: I got brown sandwiches and green sandwiches. Which one do you want?

Murray: What's the green?

Oscar: It's either very new cheese or very old meat.

Murray: I'll take the brown.

Arby's turkey gyro is legit.

ETA: Their brisket sandwich is pretty good if you hold the Mayo:

The 1/2 pound french dip is not bad at all, for seven bucks including tax.

The 2 for $6 beef and cheddars or gyros is a decent, quick lunch. Surprisingly, the roast beef gyros are not bad at all. I haven’t tried Arby’s gyro meat, so I wouldn’t know where to rate it.

I never do, but once on the way to BR I stopped for gas and was hungry and there was an Arby’s. Got some sort of carved turkey or chicken. I was somewhat impressed.

I've only been once, in 2014 when I realized I had never been and should try it. I wasn't a fan of the weird tangy Arby's sauce.

I do think I'd probably like the turkey or corned beef or chicken items. Just wasn't into the roast beef.

Their chicken sliders are great. And 2-5 everyday you can get em for $1. Also like their Reuben and fish sandwich. I think Arby’s is extremely underrated. Their market fresh wraps and sandwiches are solid as well

I have a very fond nostalgic place in my heart for the beef and cheddar. Loved those as a kid.

They had a pot roast on a baguette special years ago that was to die for. Best fast food sandwich ever made. Really wish they would bring it back.
