My wife (no pics) really enjoys their roast beef sandwiches, but I could pass on those. What I like is their smokehouse brisket sandwiches, and chicken tenders. Some people think Arby’s is gross but I feel like there are decent items on the menu.

There’s not many left in the BR area, so I rarely eat it

I love the Beef ‘N Cheddar

Not a fan of the curly fries though

I eat at the one on Sherwood maybe every 3 or 4 months. I'll grab a wrap from there occasionally when I want something quick and not too terrible for me. The beef and cheddar is solid too.

I have heard people brag on their gyro. There's one in Livingston parish, I think. I too like the beef and cheddar. If you love meat and sandwiches, its a solid fast food option. I would choose Arby's over Subway any day.

I do not, mainly because there’s not one convenient to me other than the daily commute and then there are WAY better options if I choose to stop at that exit.

Fun fact, whenever we lived in Zachary and my wife was pregnant we drove to Port Allen just so she could have Arby’s. I don’t think we’ve ever been back and that was nearly 17 years ago.

No. One of my sons and I went to the one on Sherwood pre-covid to get the mint chocolate shake they had ... and that was really good.

But that was the first time I had been in an arby's in like 20 years. My best friend in high school loved Arby's. So we'd go to the one in Kenner after she got her car. Although I usually just got curly fries.

Arby’s is my preferred fast food sandwich. The classic roast beef with Arby’s sauce is a genuinely good sandwich. Every once in a while, I will get the half pound sandwich. It is so big, I have to put Arby’s sauce on the next bite. I can’t put enough sauce on the sandwich like a regular condiment.

The gyro is ridiculously good. I honestly don’t understand why more people don’t get them.

I am not a big fan of the turkey and chicken sandwiches.

I do not enjoy the roast beef with cheese (Arby’s melts).

The hidden gem is the buffalo chicken slider. Don’t pass that up.

I only have two complaints. 1. They have a tendency to get stingy with the Arby’s sauce. 2. They are more expensive than other fast food places. I can feed my family of 4 for about $20 everywhere else. It takes $30 at Arby’s.

This is why I only took one of my sons. LOL.

I'm not saying I wouldn't ever try it again. My brother in law loves it. But I'd rather a hot roast beef po boy.

Unless y'all all order from the value or kids menu I don't know how you do it for $20. We have 4 and it's usually $35+ for us to eat fast food.

I’m well aware of that. Thanks for the clarification, cocksucker.

1980's at LaTech my live in gf worked at Arby's a few months. Nothing better than snuggling up for a good nights sleep after sex and curly fries with a gal smelling of roast beef. The smell of the place permeated every bit of her so thoroughly she still smelled of Arbys after showering.

When we eat out, it's usually to go with no drinks, and off the value menu. But my teenagers and the ten year old eat CONSTANTLY.

Sometimes I'll take the little kids by themselves so they can get a kids meal and a shake or something.

If I take the teens, I back up the truck so they can load it up.

Maybe I'll take one of them to Arby's soon.

Our youngest is 14.

We don't eat fast food a lot but we get takeout once every week or two. I've found a lot of ways to make it not $60-70 though. We get jambalaya from Pot Paddle on Jefferson. A 4 pack meal is like $25 and feeds us all. We also get Albasha fairly regularly. They give you so much food we'll get 2 combo plates and extra pita and salad and split them for around $40. My wife and I pretty regularly split an entrée when we grab restaurant food.
