Along with its founder, Jim Hoft. Twitter cited repeated rules violations. I don't agree with everything they write or post, but this is just nuts the level of censorship Big Tech is practicing right now. There needs to be some level of oversight because corporations were never meant to become this powerful in the public forum.

Would Twitter censor leftist organizations?

That’s what I thought.

How many people are still saying “it can’t happen here”?

Good. It just means that Twitter is becoming less and less relevant.

As long as the Chinese Communist Party can tweet anyone else that is blacklisted is a dick across America’s face.

No sympathy. They should have deactivated and deleted their Twitter accounts on their own, already.

The people left still using Twitter unequivocally support Twitter's and Big Tech's suppression and oppression of free and/or conservative speech.

They're only that powerful because cucks continue to use their platform. IF people who say they're against such suppression were in fact against it, they'd cancel their memberships and accounts and Twitter wouldn't have any power.

Sadly, most people - like those are Gateway Pundit- don't really believe the bullshite that comes out of their mouths.

The fact that they (and anyone else) continued to use the platform means, without question, that they support Twitter's behavior.

Not surprised, Jack D. said more conservatives were going to be banned in the coming weeks/months.

Yet more than a lot of you will scream “THAT’S FASCISM!!”... and then 1 post later “Look at this Twitter link...”

Some of you are pathetic. DELETE TWITTER. NEVER USE IT AGAIN. I promise you’ll survive the withdrawal pains.

Are there posts on Gateway Pundit that aren’t legitimate? I’ve always thought their stories were accurate and weren’t satire like Babylon Bee?

What I find fascinating is that Democrats went nuts when I private business didn’t want to bake a cake, yet at the same time praise big tech for censoring conservative voices.

Which is it Democrats? Can private business do what they want or not?

They’re like every media outlet. They get some wrong. They get some right. But their crime is a thought crime.

It's almost like Twitter is trying to control the message from their product.

That’s a good point. But it’s even more pervasive than that. This attacks the 1st amendment on multiple levels.

This “attacks” the First Amendment on zero levels. Twitter is not a governmental entity.

In an ideal world, all people and business entities would be tolerant of diverse views ... even from a source as questionable as Gateway Pundit. But nothing requires that they do so.

I don't disagree about the need for people to stop using Twitter, but I wonder -- is there a start date for people using Twitter to be considered a cuck? Our President used Twitter until the day they banned him and they certainly did not just start their bullshite censorship of conservatives on that day.

They are a de facto governmental entity. Dorsey is seeing to that. Twitter only disputes tweets by conservatives.

!This fact is not disputable!

Jack should really stop claiming twitter is a digital public square then. Free speech is protected in a public square.

The idiots that claim twitter isn't violating the first amendment often make erroneous claims like this. The other one is "why can't I go into a brick and mortar store and scream at other customers then?" Pretending that Twitter has the right to ban opinions they don't like while still claiming they are a digital public square under protection from being sued for words by their members is an argument for the mentally weak and the dishonest.

I would also make the argument that any corporation receiving benefits from the government is in fact a government organization. If you don't want to be held liable to government standards, then don't accept government money.
