Sign language on every .gov press conference. WTF?

Am I the only one who is completely baffled by this? It’s like they’ve invented a whole new level of fake virtue from liberals that we now have to use a sign language interpreter on tv. They’re pretending to give a shite about deaf people by putting an interpreter on stage that nobody needs anyway.
These morons apparently forgot that we’ve had closed captioning for decades and deaf people are perfectly capable of reading. The interpreter thing is completely idiotic and annoying simply for the fact it’s completely useless.

This has been a thing for a while. When Jindal was governor and he would speak during prep for an incoming hurricane, he had a sign language dude. And it was hilarious to watch because Jindal spoke about 1000 mph. Sign language baw had to have had arthritis of the fingers when it was all done.

It honestly is pretty fricking annoying, and really distracts from the person speaking.
