A career record of exactly .500 (117-117) though a good bit of those L’s came from 2013-2019 when the giants gave him no help on the O Line and he went 42-70.

His career numbers are 366 Passing TD’s, 244 INTS, 57k yards, and a 60% completion percentage.

We all know of his magical super bowl runs which included knocking off Favre in Green Bay, Rodgers in Green Bay, and Brady twice in the Super Bowl.

He went to 4 pro bowls in 15 years (Phillip rivers went to twice as many for reference)

And he led the league in Interceptions on 3 separate occasions (2007, 2010, and 2013)

I think he gets in, but I don’t see him being first ballot by any stretch, and I wouldn’t be shocked if he didn’t get in on the second ballot, either.

What say the rest of you?

First ballot. It'll be asinine, but he beat TB for 2 SBs.

He probably gets in but he’ll immediately be the worst QB in the hall relative to his peers.

Interestingly enough his career accomplishments are much greater than Joe Namath

He beat Brady twice in the Super Bowl. Had a damn good career. Not many qbs can make some of the badass throws he made under the biggest of pressure. That throw to Tyree is not something an average qb makes and completes. He should be in ASAP.

Dude Tyree did the heavy lifting on that play. Manning did a nice job escaping the pressure but Tyree made the circus catch in the middle of a few DBs.

Eli was a good NFL QB that went on a couple nice playoff runs. He should not be in the HOF

2nd or 3rd ballot. 1st ballot would be absolute bs.

Yes, but you’ll be hard pressed to find a year he was ever a top 10 QB in the league, and he was never top 5.

I’m no Namath fan, but he had that at least.

Bob Griese is probably the worst QB in the Hall right now.

The thing about Eli is he was not great in the Superbowls he won. I rewatched the first one last year and he was missing receivers all night. If he gets in it will be like Lynn Swann who got in for a couple of plays and with Swann it was really probably only the circus catch against the Cowboys.

Eli does not deserve to be in the Hall of Fame. He basically Trent Dilfer'ed his way to two SB wins.

If two SB gets you in the Hall then why is Jim Plunkett not in?

He's going to have to wait a while. The assumption he's definitely getting in is stupid to me.

First ballot because he played in New York and beat Brady.

Not saying it’s right.

at giving Eli credit for Tyree having the ability to catch that horrible duck of a throw against his helmet.
