Melania with her accent, was an easy target for the left. They portrayed her as dumb. She wasn’t though. She knows multiple languages, something the average American can not do. But she saw the rallies. She saw Trump had more than half the country supporting him. Though this article doesn’t give us much, I guarantee you she saw those two backstabbing her husband so that they could be shown in a favorable light by the media.
I could be wrong. And this article could be bull sh..

Melania trump is not a bad person, but I do wonder if her opposition to Jared is based on Slovenian anti-semitism
Slovenia is a very anti-Jewish country, so it wouldn’t be surprising if Melania was raised in a strongly anti-Jewish house and town.
It’s tough to break the teachings you are taught growing up, so I’m not going to hold it against her.

They weren't. Look at Ivanka's pet project, paid family leave, that she got Trump to back. Jared did well on foreign policy but his domestic policies weren't MAGA. Don Jr. seems the most MAGA of all, including his dad.

I still think Pres. Trump was shocked in getting elected in 2016. He had a very few close and trusted allies. He naturally trusted and confided with family members. I can't see where Ivanka and Jared are anything other than softer versions of New York liberals. An exception is Don Jr. whom I suspect is more like a Texan. And Eric is likely a conservative. But in New York City, those people are different than us almost to a person.

I'm Team Melania. I was okay with Ivanka (and Jared) in the White House, because I figured they would be supportive of "Daddy." Besides, Donald Trump was always going to run that show. He didn't listen to Ivanka & Jared for one second when they lobbied him to remain in the Paris Climate Accord.
But I also never thought for one second that either one was a conservative, let alone MAGA. If some Trump other than Donald runs for President in the near future, then it should be either Don, Jr. or Eric (who would be my choice). Ivanka is a non-starter for me. Might as well have Globalist Nikki Haley in there as her.
Melania is quite intelligent. I have no doubt that she understands the Democrat/GOPe/Big Tech/Corporate Media/Globalist cabal that all of us who "get it" are fighting against.
