Creating fake scandals and having the media report them as Gospel is in the Democratic Playbook. They will find something, even if they have to make it up.

What is the GOP pitch?

They'll reboot their Obama-era pitch about stopping the Biden-Harris agenda, then come up with a myriad of excuses why they can't or won't do anything.

He already exists. The best endorsement Trump has ever made.

Yeah, from what I've seen, I like him a lot. However, I've seen enough politics to be wary of people being crowned the next "great party savior" so far out.

He's Trump without the old racist con man uncle vibe going for him. Trump's Achilles Heal is the Suburban voter (he did better with urban voters this election than the last). DeSantis will have no such problem barring a major scandal.

DeSantis is basically what Donald Trump was 30 years ago, ie, the ability to crush the corrupt media, democrats and RINOs in such an articulate manner with attention to detail.

DeSantis subscribes to Trumpism and he will be the best advocate for it going forward.

The biggest sign of that is how hard he fought big business in Florida getting E-Verify passed and signed into law. That's a sure sign that DeSantis understands that immigration is the biggest threat to this country.

They wont. Vast majority of GOP establishment is on the take from China as well.

This is the real reason they hated Trump. His standoff with China cost them alot of money.

The way he will get hit on a national level will be on a whole different scale, though.

Socialism is garbage. Hard work and individual freedom make society prosper. The rest is details.

Plus tactically, increase Asian support.

I disagree with him there. It is the oligarchy and Big Tech that are the biggest threat followed by China. Then I'll give it to immigration as third.

The GOPe should pitch themselves off of very tall buildings and let people who actually care about America take over.

They've already been taking pot shots at him all year long over Covid and he's beat them down and left them looking like fools each and every time.

Do you remember this moment where DeSantis completely humiliated a reporter in public for not doing enough fear mongering over Covid?

Women’s Rights (currently under attack by the left via redefining what it is to be a woman).

Minority empowerment via reasonable, strictly and equitably enforced immigration policies. Illlegal immigration directly hurts minorities and existing legal immigrants.

Freedom of speech, expression, religion... all sheltered and protected by the right to bear arms.

No more War, except in defense, including the wars on Americans (drugs/poverty/etc).

America first, in all policies and spending. Allies second. Anyone else, left out.

Depends on who the GOP targets to join the coalition - either possible candidate requires one hell of a concession from typical GOP platforms.

(Note: At the core of the GOP the only tying feature is lower taxes and lower regulations, that's the only thing white-collar corporate type republicans, evangelicals, and MAGA have in common).

Option 1: Go the Hispanic route - requires giving up a lot on immigration, but pulls in a mostly religious group that hates "Latinx" wokism, and much prefers Capitalism to Socialism

Option 2: Start picking off from the center left - same route, most people hate wokeism, and believe their daughters should have a chance in sports. However, it's going to be hard for them to bite on a "Trump-type" candidate, and they wont go for an Evangelical one (i.e. a candidate that runs with a focus on reversing Roe vs Wade).

Trying to pull MAGA back in (based on how this board is posting) is probably a lost cause. It's going to be hard for MAGA and corporate republicans to reconcile after this month.

Demographics is destiny.

Out of control Immigration is responsible for so much of the political insanity we see in our local, state and federal politics today.

Out of control Immigration is why we have and out and proud communists running in elections and serving in our government today.

Out of control Immigration is why our major cities are communist and leftist hell holes.

Out of control Immigration is why a proud communist in Bernie Sanders was a serious threat to win a major party's Presidential nomination two cycles in a row.

Out of control Immigration costs us 113 billion dollars a year and that number is only getting bigger. Imagine what we could do with that kind of money elsewhere.

Out of control Immigration has destroyed quality of life for the working poor and the middle class and has put their economic security in serious danger.

Out of control Immigration in America has made big tech strong and powerful as they are today and it has weakened America enough where China stands a serious threat to us.

Solve the immigration problem and China, the oligarchy and China will be much easier to solve.

Maybe it’s just me but it’s tough to see people getting thrilled to vote for ANY GOPer going forward. Afterall, the same people Trump helped re-elect essentially stabbed him in the back. It’s going to be interesting to see how the RNC broadcasts their message for this next cycle.

Will be too much apathy after this stolen election
