Me too. One of the reasons I like(d) Limestone Co is the relatively sleepy feel. I might have to say adios if this just becomes a giant suburb.

Don't worry. They will keep giving land away until there is nothing left of Limestone county.

I was always under the impression that there was already growing sprawl between Bham and Huntsville. How far apart are they? Like Nola to BR distance? Or like Knoxville to Chattanooga distance?

An hour and a half and a whole lot of country separates the two.

It’s like an hour and a half ride up I-65 from Bham to Huntsville.

About four years out of date.

The trend isn't looking good for Bham.

You’ve obviously never been to Walker County.

I like Blount County. It's extremely pretty.

The only problem is that it's dry and filled with Church of Christ.

I have. And I have weighed the two. I've been back and forth. Blount County is a God-farsaken shithole. It is the worse of the two. It does have a couple nice covered bridges, though.

It is filled with alot more than that. It is a shady, dark place.

Uh, no. Pretty country. You must not get around much. There are counties in AL that make Blount seem like paradise on Earth.

If all there was to any particular county was the country, sure. That isn't the case, though.

Nah. I have reasons to loathe that county. That isn't it.

Greene and Hale counties are basically third world. Had an internship at Alabama Power once out that way and just yikes

Anything in north AL is basically paradise compared to that

Or try Dallas County or the south part of Perry County around Uniontown. Spend some time around that part of the state before pissing on Blount County.
