I think the Biden Administration is planning to keep it. Plus, Congress will have to be the ones to eliminate it.
Space Force has been the laughing stock of Trump's administration and I don't think they want to have a branch of the military who's origins are associated with him. Plus the main adversary of the SF is China and Joe won't let that stand.

The Huntsville "metro" area is predicted to pass Birmingham as the most populous area of Al-la-BAMA within the 2020s.

City of Colorado Springs is NOT HAPPY right now.
Reports coming out from here are that the Secretary of the Air Force selected Colorado Springs/Peterson Air Force base for the permanent location of Space Command, but the President ignored the decision and chose Huntsville instead.
Multiple folks, including the Democratic Governor and Republican House member representing Colorado Springs, have called it a politically charged decision. Fueling their theories is that Redstone Arsenal is in Mo Brooks' distrct.

We already have NASA and the USAF working on space programs, not to mention a strong partnership with SpaceX. Just a big ole boondoggle, wasting our money on something not needed. More bureaucracy, yeah!!!

Further reports include that there is 0 dollars included in the plan for relocation and that multiple members of Colorado's congressional delegation are reaching out to President-Elect Biden to reconsider.
Also that they plan to open a congressional investigation into how the decision was reached.
This is about to get messy for no real reason.

I am old enough to remember when the Dems and the MSM mercilessly mocked Reagan over his strategic defense initiative. Everyone called it Star Wars and laughed at him. It wasn't long before no one was laughing any more.
