Never heard of this company until today, but I don't use my shotgun much.

Any opinions on their ammo?

never had any problem with them - they are just dirty burners (at least the target load is)

Tried them with doves. Wasn’t impressed

Good for skeet shooting. Twenty years ago - A box of Rio's, a case of clay pigeons, and a hand thrower. Head to the levee and have a few hours of fun. Can't do that any more after 9/11.

I use their steel shot on the catfish farm to kill cormorants because it’s only 10 dollars a box

I like them for shooting clays and quail, mostly because they are blue and I can see them much easier with my color blindness (red and green ones are very hard to see on the ground) , makes picking up spent hulls easier

Might be a good reason to buy that O/U 20 gauge I have had my eye on, yellow sticks out well

I have several cases for waterfowl hunting been shooting them for many years. They are dirty but kind of hard to beat on price point.

I will say this is the first time in about 7 years that I have had so many dead shells from them.

Looking at switching to Boss or back to Hevi Shot.

The proper term. Nice. Haven’t heard them called that in ages

I shoot 6-8 cases a year at clay targets. My only complaint is that sometimes/frequently the targets don't break.

They’re all I’ve shot for years in 12 and 20 for ducks and dove. I did switch over to Boss this duck season for my 20ga’s but I still use Rio in my 12’s. They’re good shells and priced reasonably too

I bought 3 cases Rio’s this year.. of been thru 1.5 and I can say they are dirty, as posters above mentioned. Had (2) no-fires in my SBEII.

For the price, couldn’t beat them. Think I got them at Rogers for $89/case preseason. Likely to buy again, but don’t have to clean my shotgun as often w other shells.

Prolly shot a dozen or more cases of 20 gauge shells through my Cordoba. Not the cleanest or best smelling shell but never really any problems with them.

Even shot some registered sporting clays with them.

My red label won’t eject them. Most shells it’s just the aggravation of temporarily having extractors instead of ejectors, but about once a box I have to pry the shell out with a choke tool. No issues in my other guns though

It’s fine

I found them 6 years ago at sgammo on the cheap.

500 Rounds of low recoil buck. I can barely tell the difference in recoil.

I have used them for the last 5 years for duck hunting and they work great, haven't had a single issue!! They caught on quick though because they are hard to find like everything else

Yes, they are made in Marshall TX & their HQ is in Las Colinas right outside of Dallas. I used to office out of the same building they are in.

I have used them for clays as well as hunting upland game. They are fine shells and just as good as any other brand.
