While I personally don't give a damn about this case, it was a family issue IMO and I did not read most of what you posted, I appreciate the amount of work you put into it. Well done sir.

No, I didn't want to post too much info.

Some theorize that a family friend named Bill McReynolds, who saw JonBenet the night before the murder, was responsible. He was dressed as Santa Claus, and was believed to have taken a special liking to the girl. He was never formally charged, and no evidence links him to the crime.

Neighbor Melody Stanton.

“a child's scream that lasted 3 to 5 seconds” “It may not have been an audible scream but rather the negative energy radiating from JonBenét.”

Boulder.

Checks out.

I think it was the brother and the parents tried to cover it up. Seems the most logical explanation to me.

TL:DR, the whacky brother did it.

I think the DA is smart enough to know the don't have the evidence to convict. You are going to have to convince a jury the Ramsey`s have a daughter lying on the floor in distress and their first action isn't to try to do save her life. (Call an ambulance or drive her to the hospital) There action is to write a ransome note and put a rope around her neck and strangle her. There is not enough evidence to get over that hurdle.

I mean, I was interested based on the thread title, but my god I don’t have a weeks worth of time to do all that reading.

Let the cold case detectives handle this. This is what they do.

Can you imagine decades later being suspected despite the only evidence being that you played Santa and gave a kid that still believed in santa some attention?

I'm quite impressed that you only had to add three more posts after the reserve hurricane. Had it planned out pretty well.

Thanks for info OP. I was living in Colo Spgs when this happened so have always had an interest in the investigation. Hopefully someday justice will be served.

I said I don't really give a frick. I think her dad had something to do with it, but I don't lose sleep over not knowing for sure who did it. Is that a problem??

are you suggesting the family should have been allowed to settle the matter internally

Yeah, her brother killed her and the parents covered it up to keep from losing the only child they had left.

There is evidence for both an intruder and a family member doing the crime. This is what makes the case so perplexing.
